Methods to Fix Profile Error Occurred on Google Chrome
Some users have been getting the " profiled error occurred" error when opening Google Chrome on their PC. 1. Delete web or local state data files
Step 1: Press Windows + R keys together to open run dialog and type %localappdata% to open local file folder.
Step 2: Navigate to Google > Chrome > User Data > Default. In the Default folder, scroll down and find Web Data. Right-click it and click Delete in the context menu.
Now, restart your PC and try opening Chrome. You can see that Chrome open smoothly and the error has been fixed.
2. End all Google processes
Step 1: Close all Chrome web.
Step 2: Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc keys together to open Task Manager.
Step 3: Locate all Google Chrome processes and click End task.
3. Rename default folder

Step 1: Press Windows + R keys together to open run dialog. Type the path given below in the run command box to open the location containing the default profile of Chrome.

Step 2: Find a folder named Default, right-click it and choose Rename. Rename default folder to Default-backup.
4. Reinstall Chrome
Step 1: Make sure Chrome browser is closed.
Step 2: Press Windows + R keys together to open run dialog, type appwiz.cpl and press Enter.
Step 3: Right-click Chrome and click Uninstall.
Step 4: After uninstalling the Google Chrome, restart your PC.
Step 5: At the next startup, press Windows + R to open run dialog. Then type %localappdata% and press Enter.
Step 6: Open the Google folder, locate Chrome folder and delete the folder.
Step 7: Once the local data of Chrome has been deleted, you can reinstall Chrome.
