For some reason, you want to switch to a new browser. In this case, you have to face the problem of transferring bookmark. For example, maybe you need to export bookmarks from Firefox or import bookmarks from Chrome to Firefox. Of course, you can cut and paste the website to new browser one by one. But it will be a massive hassle when the number of bookmarks is numerous. Take it easy! Part 1: Chrome

Import bookmarks from Firefox or Internet Explorer to Chrome

  • Step 1: Open Chrome browser. Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of browser.

  • Step 2: Move mouse over Bookmarks and click Import bookmarks and settings.

  • Step 3: Choose the browser from the drop-down menu and then click Import.

  • Step 4: A confirmation window will pop up and you just need to click Done to finish.

Tips: You can also import browsing history and saved password from Firefox or Internet Explorer in this way.

Export Chrome bookmarks

  • Step 1: Open Chrome browser and press Ctrl + Shift + O shortcut simultaneously.

  • Step 2: Click the three vertical dots menu at the top-right corner and select Export bookmarks.

Tips: You can also import bookmarks in this way but it just can import an HTML file.

Part 2: Firefox

Import bookmarks from Chrome or Internet Explorer to Firefox

  • Step 1: Open the Firefox browser and press Ctrl + Shift + B shortcut simultaneously to open Library window.

  • Step 2: On Library window, Click Import and Backup and select Import Data from Another Browser in the context menu.

  • Step 3: Choose the browser (Chrome or Internet Explorer) from which you want to import bookmarks and then click Next.

  • Step 4: Select which items to import and then click Next (All items are checked by default and you can uncheck other items).

Export Firefox bookmarks

  • Step 1: Open Firefox browser and press Ctrl + Shift + B shortcut simultaneously.

  • Step 2: On Library window, Click Import and Backup and select Export Bookmarks to HTML.

Part 3: Internet Explorer

Import favorites from Chrome to Internet Explorer

  • Step 1: Open Internet Explorer browser and click File on the top left corner of browser.

  • Step 2: Click Import and export in the context menu.

  • Step 1: Repeat above steps 1 and 2 of importing favorites.

  • Step 2: Select Export to a file and click Next.
