How to Change the Taskbar Color in Windows 11 and 10?
The taskbar is the small, long bar at the bottom of the desktop. The taskbar color in the windows 11 and 10 systems is generally black by default, sometimes users replace a good-looking wallpaper, the black taskbar is not quite with, or do not like the black taskbar, want to change the taskbar color, then how to make changes on the Windows 11 and 10 computer to make the desktop more vivid and beautiful? Here are two ways to change the color of the taskbar in Windows 11 and 10.
Via system settings
Step 1: Open settings → Personalization → Colors.
Step 2: Select a favorite color in the right-hand pane under "windows colors".
Step 3: Find "Show accent color on the following surfaces" below, then tick "Start, taskbar, and action center".
Step 4: The color of the taskbar will change accordingly, if you have selected green, the taskbar color will be green.
Note: If you can't tick the "Start, taskbar, and action center" option, you can change it to "Custom" under "Choose your color" and "Dark" under "Choose your default Windows mode" first.
Via registry editor
Step 1: Use WIN+R to open the Run dialog box, type "Regedit", and click "OK" to open the registry editor.
Step 2: Find the following path in the registry:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize
Step 3: Double click "color prevalence".
Step 4: Change the Value Data to 1 and click ok to save the changes.
Step 5: Find the following path in the registry, and then double click on "AutoColorization".
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
Step 6: Change the Value Data to 1 and click ok to save the changes.
Step 7: Close the registry, open Task Manager, and click Restart Windows Explorer. Once the operation is complete, the color of the taskbar will change.
