Solved-Language Bar Missing from Taskbar in Windows 10
The language bar in the taskbar is an important feature for users who use their computers to input languages other than English, and they can change the input language by adjusting the settings in the taskbar. Preliminary solution
1.If your computer has the problem of the language bar disappearing from the taskbar for the first time, restart your computer and check if you experience the same problem again after restarting.
2.Check if there are any updates for Windows 10 waiting on your device. If any updates are waiting, please update your Windows.
3.Right-click on the taskbar and select the Show Touch Keyboard button.
If none of the above methods work, please try the following four solutions.
Solution 1: Via taskbar settings
Step 1: Move your mouse to the taskbar, right-click on the empty taskbar and click on Taskbar Settings.
Step 2: In the taskbar settings, scroll down to find "Turn system icons on or off" and click to open it.
Step 3: The language bar can be displayed in the taskbar by opening it in the "Input Indicator" section.
Solution 2: Via registry editor
Step 1: Use the shortcut key WIN+R to open the Run window and type "regedit" to open the registry editor.
Step 2: Find the following location in the registry.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunStep 3: Right-click "Run" to create a new "string value".
Step 4: Right-click the newly created key value, and select "modify".
Step 5: Change the value name to "ctfmon.exe", the Value data to "C:\windows\system32\ctfmon.exe". Click ok to save the changes. Then press F5 to refresh or restart your computer.
Note: If you can't modify the name directly, you can click rename first, change the name, and then click Modify to edit the value data.
Solution 3: Via language bar options
Step 1: Open windows settings→Time & Language→Language
Step 2: Click the keyboard to open.
Step 3: Find "Language bar options" to open it.
Step 4: In the Language bar of the Text Service and Input Languages dialog box, check "Docked in the taskbar", check "Show additional language bar icons in the taskbar" and "Show text labels on the language bar". Click "Apply" and "OK" to save the changes.
Solution 4: Via Command Prompt
Step 1: In the search bar, type "cmd" and click on "run as administrator".
Step 2: Type "sfc /scannow" in the Command Prompt window and hit Enter. This operation will find the corrupted files and repair them. After the scan is complete, restart your computer and check if you can find the language bar on the taskbar.
