My colleague's computer has some issues and needs my support, but I'm not in the office now. Can I use my Android phone to control his computer?
Of course. Google Chrome Remote Desktop can meet all your needs. This post will take you through how to remotely control a computer with an Android phone by using Chrome Remote Desktop.
1. Use Remote Access to control a compute with a phone
When there’s an urgent task to handle but you’re out of office, you can use Chrome Remote Desktop to easily control your office computer with your Android phone for work. By using the Remote Access feature in Chrome Remote Desktop, you can access the files, emails, apps etc. in your computer from afar.
Note: you should set up access to your computer first before accessing it with your phone. You can refer to part 2 section (1) Set up remote access in How to Use Google Chrome Remote Desktop to Achieve Remote Access and Support for more details.
Step 1: Log in to your Google account on your Android phone, which must be the same one in your computer.
Step 2: Search remotedesktop.google.com/access in Chrome search bar to enter the Remote Access page.
Tip: If you’ve installed the Chrome Remote Desktop app, just open it.
Step 3: Tap the desktop you want from the Remote devices list.
Note: Please make sure your computer is turned on and connected to internet to keep online.
Step 4: Enter the PIN and click the arrow on the right.
Step 5: Now you can control your computer in the following interface by using your Android phone.
There’re five icons in the toolbar at the top of the interface. You can tap the first icon to display full screen, the second icon to hide keyboard, the third icon to change input modes, the fourth icon to hide the toolbar and the last icon to enter the Options tab. You can tap Disconnect in Options tab to end the access or choose other options to make other changes.

Step 3: Enter the access code that your colleague sent to you, then click Connect within the same five minutes.
Step 4: Then your colleague should click Share in the following prompt.
Step 5: Now you are sharing your colleague's desktop and both of you can control it.
There’re four icons in the toolbar at the top of the interface on your phone, namely full-screen, hide keyboard, auto-hide toolbar and show options. You can click on different icons to make settings according to your needs. And you can click Disconnect in the Options tab when you finish sharing.
